MEN'S WATER POLO: OEC CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY

Fullerton caps off the Orange Empire Conference Tournament with a convincing third place finish.

In the Hornets opening game of the Orange Empire Conference Championships, Fullerton defeated Santa Ana in a 12-7.

FC started the first quarter strong, only allowing Santa Ana a single goal, while the Hornets scored six of their own. Santa Ana did their best to recover in the third, but it was Fullerton's moment to advance to game 4.

In their second game, Fullerton finished the day with a 10-5 loss at the hands of Orange Coast College. The Pirates started the game slowly with a single goal in the first quarter, but took a solid lead scoring three goals in each of the following quarters. 

For a chance to take third place in the tournament, FC did not disappoint as they went on to defeat Riverside City College 14-6.

In the championship game, Orange Coast College sank at the hands of Golden West College 18-8. The Rustler win marks the 26th consecutive and 44th OEC title in the program's history.

Up Next: The #9 Hornets will play in the Southern California Championships at Citrus College November 13-15. FC will open with #9 Cuesta College on Thursday, November 13th @ 2:30pm.
