MEN'S WATER POLO: HORNET SWEEP

The FC men's water polo squad put together a four-win weekend at the South of the Border Tournament hosted by San Diego Mesa College.

On Friday, the Hornets opened up with a 17-9 win over El Camino College and then managed to bring down Chaffey College 15-7.

On Saturday, Fullerton beat one of the top teams in Southern California in Grossmont College. Down by four goals, the Hornets rallied back to beat the Griffins 13-12.

In game two on Saturday, FC avenged an earlier loss against Citrus by holding off the Owls 11-9. Before the game, Citrus' only loss on the season came against Golden West College, who recently beat the Hornets 14-5.

FC goalie Sam Feaster showed well for the team accumulating 67 total saves during the four-game tournament.
