Karson Peffer had 20 points and Powell Mousaian had 18 but it wasn't enough as the GCC Men's Basketball team fell to Santiago Canyon College 91-70 in the Santa Ana College Crossover event Nov. 2 at Santa Ana College. The Vaqs trailed 39-30 at halftime and could never gain ground in the first-round matchup.
Peffer's points came on seven of 15 shooting from the field and Mousaian was seven of 12 and also had a team high 13 rebounds and seven assists. Tyson Jackson added 11 points and three boards.
Glendale faces host Santa Ana at noon Saturday Nov. 4.
