Our women's soccer team kicked off the season with a 7-0 win over Norco College

It was well deserved after an intense, hard working summer.  The team-work and communication demonstrated on the field among all players was the overall reason for beginning the season successfully. Freshman Damaris Aguila scored the first goal and later went on to score another goal during the second half.  Freshmen Mitzi Ortega debuted earning a hat trick scoring goals that lifted the enthusiasm and support of our Devore stadium fans. Bianca Mora  led in the center midfield and scored a phenomenal goal from outside the 18 yard box.  Assisting her in the center midfield was sophomore Vanessa Fernandez who scored the final goal of the match.  Goals were assisted by Aletse Camacho, Fernanda Lopez, Mitzi Ortega, Christina Hernandez and Damaris Aguila.  Overall if was a great start for our Jaguars as they will continue to keep working hard this preseason.  Congrats and keep up the passionate effort demonstrated on the field!
