Cypress, Calif -- Coming off a defeat at Fullerton last week, the Chargers came out strong in today's game scoring goals with ease.

The Chargers scored two goals at the beginning of the match to begin the scoring. Saddleback came back with two goals of their own to tie it up at 2-2 at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter saw four more Charger goals which led to a 6-4 lead for Cypress at halftime.

The rest of the game belonged to the Chargers as they piled on another 11 goals in the second half to beat the Gauchos by a final score of 17-7.

High scorers for the Chargers included Taylor Leach and Sadie Bryan who each scored four goals. Jennifer Perciado and Kiley Kendall each scored three goals. Kendall came away with four steals and Preciado and Leach added another three steals each.

Up next the Chargers head down south to play in the Jet's Classic in Miramar and Mesa this weekend (10/4-5).
