In a conference game, No. 3 Fullerton took a trip to Orange Coast College Friday night and brought down the Pirates 86-45.

It did not take long for the Hornets to quickly get back in the win column after dropping their last game that broke their 13-game win streak. Tonight's win puts FC up to 21-4 overall and 12-1 in the Orange Empire Conference. OCC's loss lands them at 10-14 overall and 4-8 in the OECs. Meanwhile, Santiago Canyon College look to knock off Golden West College on Tuesday as they try and keep pace with Fullerton. They trail the Hornets by two games with four games left in conference-play.

Fullerton moved quickly with a 14-7 lead and did not let go as the Hornets kept the Pirates at bay for the rest of the game. Jeremiah Davis knocked down a three-pointer at to widen the lead at 38-18 at 2:35. FC finished out the half with a 43-20 advantage.

The second half moved quickly as the Hornets pushed ahead with its largest lead of 47 with just over four minutes left in regulation. 

Overall, Fullerton shot a strong 52.5% from the floor while holding Orange Coast to 27%. The Hornets owned the paint scoring 34 points to OCC's 14, while out-rebounding the Pirates 49-39.

The two scoring leaders for the game came off the bench in Godfrey Little (13 points) and Addy G'bye (12). Christian Watson scored 10 points with 8 rebounds, and Jayden Byers scored 9 with 4 assists. Both RJ Banks and JQ Strong scored 8 points.
