CYPRESS, Calif. --- The Cypress Chargers Men's soccer team failed to break their losing streak when they let 4 goals go through in Tuesday's matchup against the visiting Irvine Valley College Lasers.
Irvine Valley was able to score two goals in the first half and led the Chargers by a score of (2-0) going into the break.
The Lasers managed to grab another quick one just minutes into the second half, which eventually fired the Chargers up.
Antonio Alcala punched in a goal for Cypress near the 75th minute, giving the Chargers hope for a comeback. The Chargers trailed (1-3) at that point, with 25 minutes left on the clock.
Unfortunately, the Lasers scored once more with just 5 minutes left in the contest, giving them the (4-1) victory over the Chargers.
Cypress faces Santa Ana at home on Oct. 25, starting at 3pm.
