The Sacramento City Panthers went 2-1 at the Fresno City Tournament. On Saturday, March 5th Sac City defeated Riverside 6-2 with Fr P (#26) Kali Sargent as the winning pitcher with 10 strikeouts. Fr SS (#6) Katie Lopez went 3-4 at the plate and So LF (#15) Morgan Welch was 2-3 with 2 runs scored as well.

Game 2 on Saturday saw the Panthers defeated by Fresno City 7-0 with So P (#16) Bebout as the losing pitcher. Fr 1B / P (#20) Gabby Ortiz 2 hits and So 2B (#4) Madison Butcoff 2 hits led the Panthers in the loss.

The Panthers 7-1 win on Sunday March 6th came against Hartnell.  FR P (#26) Kali Sargent was the winning pitcher totaling 8 strikeouts. So LF (#15) Morgan Welch had 3 hits, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBI in the game as well. Fr SS (#6) Katie Lopez  had 2 hits, scored a run and had 2 RBI. The Panthers second game was suspended due to weather.

The Sacramento City College Panthers (12-4-1) next games are Saturday Mar. 12th at "The Yard" with Game 1 starting at 12:00 PM and Game 2 starting at 2:00 PM against American River (13-4). Come out and show your "Panther Pride".
