MEN'S SOCCER: HORNETS STUCK IN NEUTRAL

It was not the most exciting match of the year as both the Hornets and Pirates played to a scoreless tie at Orange Coast College on Tuesday.

The tie does help Fullerton (5-4-2), as they are in fourth place in a tight Orange Empire Conference race. FC is one game behind Santa Ana (6-2-2) who currently sits in third place. Orange Coast is two games behind FC in fifth place. Golden West College (7-0-2) and Irvine Valley (8-2) Colleges are the top teams in the OEC to beat.

Good defense was played throughout the game by both teams as FC got off only 6 shots on goal and OCC got off 4.

Hornet goalkeeper Alexis Villanueva had 4 saves on the day.

Up Next: The Hornets will play a big one on Friday, October 28th when they host Santa Ana College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
