Fullerton won their second game of the season on Wednesday defeating Barstow College 92-86 opening up the Riverside City College Tournament.
FC dished out a little payback on Barstow College after losing to the Vikings 111-83 the previous Sunday. Ryan Magee had a solid outing with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Kristopher Nelson had 16 points, delivered 9 assists, and had 3 steals. It was the first time this season that the Hornets shot over 45% from the floor. They shot 53%.
On Thursday, the Hornets took their lumps against 5th in-state San Bernardino Valley College falling 73-38. FC shot 29.3% from the floor with Jake McCloskey and Caden Williams serving as the team's highest scorers putting up 7 points each.
FC ended their time at the tournament on Friday losing to Citrus College 73-65. Austyn Thompson came off the bench to scoring a team-high 15 points. Nelson put up 13 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Up Next: The Hornets (2-9) will play this Thursday at 5:00 pm against L.A. Trade Tech at the Saddleback College Tournament. The tournament runs December 18-20.
