SADDLEBACK, Calif. --- The Lady Chargers managed to defeat a Saddleback Gaucho team in three straight sets on Friday night by scores of (25-11), (25-23), (25-23).

Ani Green led Cypress in kills (17), Allyson Dekruyf led the Chargers in assists (37) and Holly Webster led the team in digs (13).

Another notable performance was Damillia Foster going 11 for 15 in kills.  Foster also added a block to her stat line on Friday night.

This victory gives Cypress a (15-7) overall record and (9-4) record in the OEC conference.

The Chargers have the opportunity to finish second in the final OEC standings next week if Golden West drops a game and they're able to defeat Orange Coast next Wednesday.

Cypress will travel to Costa Mesa to face the Pirates on Wednesday, with first serve starting at 7 pm.
