CYPRESS, Calif. --- The Cypress Chargers moved to (14-7) overall and (8-4) in conference play on Wednesday night, after defeating the Santa Ana Dons by scores of (25-23), (24-26), (25-16) & (25-17).

After being tied up (1-1) heading into the third set, Cypress kicked their game into another gear.  

Holly Webster led the Chargers in digs with 13 on the night, while Torie Kunipo followed right behind her with 12.   

Mya Shannon recorded an impressive 14 kills and Damillia Foster led the team in blocks with five.  Ani Green also performed well for the Chargers.  Green added eight kills and three blocks for Cypress.

Foster, Green and Webster all stood out for the Lady Chargers and all three happened to be honored before the game for sophomore night.  

Allyson Dekruyf continued to lead her team in assists with 44.

This victory puts Cypress in the driver seat to potentially move up in the OEC standings before the conclusion of the regular season.  Cypress travels to face Saddleback this Friday, starting at 6 pm.
