The ladies of Sparta were back in action this morning on a quick turnaround, looking to rebound from the Friday night 5 set loss to Palomar. The late night road trip did not seem to affect the Spartans as they were able to get out to early leads in both of the first two sets and hold it throughout each set. In set 3 Fullerton battled back and exchanged points with the Spartans before eventually winning the set 27-29. In set four MiraCosta was able to regain control of the match and cruise to a 25-20 victory. 

Freshman stand out Leah McManus continued her hot streak from night before finishing the match with 12 kills on 22 attempts which resulted in a .455 hitting percentage. Sophomore Brianna Sizemore led all attackers with 13 kills. Sophomore setter Jessica Zieg dished her way to 36 assists and freshman libero Cady Francis held the back line posting 21 digs on the match.
