The OEC Athletes and Team of the Week have been named for the week of March 11-17, 2024.

The Orange Coast College Women's Basketball Team won the 3C2A State Championship for the second-straight year. The Pirates defeated San Joaquin Delta and Moorpark before besting Glendale, 71-60, in the Championship. OCC finished the season with a 30-3 record, won 20-straight and became the ninth team to win back-to-back titles.

Bridgette McIntyre, a sophomore from Orange Coast College, was named the 3C2A State Tournament MVP. She scored 18 points vs. Glendale, hitting five 3-pointers, along with three assists and three steals. She scored 12 in the semis vs. Moorpark and 21 in the quarterfinals vs. Delta.

Freshman Grant Dvorak, Irvine Valley College Men's Volleyball, helped the Lasers upset No. 2 Golden West in the OEC opener. Dvorak had 14 kills while hitting .407. He added 25 assists and seven digs. In a sweep vs. Santiago Canyon, Dvorak had six kills on 10 swings with no errors (.600) while leading the team with 17 assists.
