OEC Gives Back to Orange County High Schools

OEC Gives Back to Orange County High Schools

ANAHEIM, CA – The Orange Empire Conference and its member schools are sponsoring the Orange County Athletic Director Association's (OCADA - http://www.ocada.info/) annual Winter Dinner on Monday night at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Orange County high school Athletic Directors and member schools will get together and honor "Athletes with Character" from their high schools during the event.

"Athletes with Character" will be selected based on the Six Pillars of Character including trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

The Orange Empire Conference's similar program, the Character Champion Awards, have become increasingly important to its member schools. Conference leadership, driven by Commissioner John Keever, felt that supporting local high schools and their similar effort was worthy of participation. Since the OEC began honoring Character Champions, 50 honorees have come from over 30 different Orange County High Schools.

ALL-TIME HONOREES FROM OC HIGH SCHOOLS
